Nicolas Ghesquière turned inward this season, presenting a collection inspired by the intimacy and serenity of home. Cozy silhouettes included teddy-textured coats, bathrobe-inspired outerwear, fuzzy knits, and toga-like draped dresses. Experimentation came through playful pieces like a romper disguised as a camel coat, brushed silk robes scattered with jewels, and fringed looks finished with beaded dégradé effects.
Balancing simplicity and luxury, the lineup ranged from cotton tops and silk pants to richly embroidered tabards and brocade socks. Shown in Anne of Austria’s restored summer apartments at the Louvre, the setting amplified the theme of refined domesticity—an elevated vision of comfort and private luxury.
