GIUSEPPE DI MORABITO Spring Summer 2026 Milan – Full Show
Titled The Fall of Icarus, Giuseppe Di Morabito’s second full-scale show explored craft, memory, and mythology. The collection featured hand-sculpted porcelain bustiers adorned with roses, pearl-encrusted lace and jersey, and handmade crochet from Calabria. Material innovation included salt-crystal garments developed with chemist Sumeyya Donmez, resin corsets, macramé with rhinestones, and metallic wings referencing the Icarus myth.
Silhouettes balanced softness and structure with dropped shoulders, sculpted basques, wide-leg trousers, and flowing dresses. Accessories included feathered baseball caps, opera gloves reimagined as handbags, porcelain rose earrings, and latex shorts with a ceramic sheen. The palette moved from white, black, and nude to deep red accents.
