Vintage in Pills VERSACE Spring 2001 Milan – Fashion Channel
Donatella Versace’s Spring/Summer 2001 show for Versace was presented during Milan Fashion Week, showcasing the house’s signature sensual glamour with a focus on sleek, body-conscious silhouettes. Models wore draped-neck, ruched, and off-the-shoulder mini dresses, one-shoulder tops, straight-leg pants, and fitted knee-length designs.
The collection featured luxurious materials such as clingy jersey, patent leather, and silk, emphasizing movement and shine. For the finale, models appeared in sequin-embellished or floral-printed silk gowns with chest cutouts, thigh-high slits, and asymmetric sleeves, blending elegance with a confident, modern edge.
The color palette ranged from white, black, and silver to turquoise blue, pink, red, gray, and brown, while accessories included dark sunglasses, leather purses, and stiletto heels. Models Carmen Kass, Gisele Bündchen, and Yfke Sturm completed the look with short, backcombed hair and black smoky eyes, capturing the bold, high-energy spirit of early-2000s Versace.
