ALAÏA Spring 2026 Best Looks Paris – Fashion Channel
For the Fall 2025 collection, Pieter Mulier explored the duality between tension and beauty, presenting an immersive show that reflected on the state of modern luxury. The runway took place within a striking digital installation a mirrored floor and ceiling displaying the faces of the models creating a cocoon-like atmosphere where fashion and emotion intertwined.
The collection opened with pure, structured cotton tunics inspired by a 1980 piece designed and worn by Azzedine Alaïa himself, setting a tone of quiet elegance. These were paired with silk-fringed stockings, leading into seamless silk knitwear shaped into sculptural, body-conscious silhouettes. Classic Alaïa codes appeared through fit-and-flare knit dresses and fluid architectural coats layered with cascading fringes.
Mulier balanced innovation with heritage, closing the show with grand duchess satin ball skirts that nodded to historical costume references while remaining firmly modern.
