Maria Høgh Heilmann presented Aiayu’s first runway show at the Nils Stærk gallery in Copenhagen to mark the brand’s 20th anniversary. The collection reflected Aiayu’s foundation in craftsmanship and natural materials, drawing from the brand’s long-standing production across Bolivia, India, Mongolia, Nepal, and Europe.
The Spring 2025 collection featured cotton shirtdresses, linen shorts, and long tanks layered over T-shirt dresses. Knitwear appeared in lightweight sweaters styled around the shoulders and sleeveless tops paired with relaxed trousers. The palette included complementary shades of blue and muted neutrals.
Construction emphasized clean lines and ease of movement, with fabrics chosen for texture and natural drape. The overall approach highlighted versatility and the integration of functional design with materials developed through traditional textile techniques.
