JEAN PAUL GAULTIER Spring 2026 Best Looks Paris – Fashion Channel
Duran Lantink’s debut collection for Jean Paul Gaultier, titled Junior Gaultier, offered a futuristic pneumatic silhouette drawing inspiration from sci fi and rave culture, specifically referencing the Het RoXY Archief book. Lantink focused on creating a fantasy from his memories of Gaultier, twisting them for a contemporary look.
The show opened with a silhouette combining Gaultier’s famous cone bra with Lantink’s bumper silhouettes. Key pieces included futuristic bodysuits cut high on the leg and gowns that defied gravity by covering only the breasts and hips on the front. A midriff baring bisected trenchcoat was featured, alongside a plethora of trompe l’oeil tops and leggings. These tops and leggings displayed hairy bodies, cartoonish organs, or 3D printed tattoos, and some were emblazoned with the Junior Gaultier label.
More wearable items included the printed tops and leggings, jackets with hems curling up in a nod to sailor hats, and long gowns and trousers with curvilinear waistbands. Accessories were striking, particularly the sunglasses with lenses that seemed to float away from the face.
