Victor Weinsanto’s collection was inspired by 18th century figures like Madame de Pompadour, drawing on their power gained through charm and fashion. The aesthetic featured rich fabrics, lavish embroideries, and a focus on pin curls.
The show included theatrical looks like a microscopic LBD sprouting a giant canopy of black lace, a wooden minidress using marquetry technique, and cheeky styles like black jeans with open corset lacing.
More tailored pieces included handsome jackets flecked with floral embroideries, inventive swing coats with transparent inlays, and clever white shirts with snap off sleeves creating a recurring halter neck style. The Rococo spirit was heightened by the high jewelry collaboration featuring 24 karat gold lace and diamonds set in geometric structures.
