Vintage in Pills DOLCE&GABBANA Spring 2004 Milan – Fashion Channel
The Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2004 collection was a lighthearted exploration of 1950s and 1960s summertime references, culminating in a spectacular finale of sparkly, colorful, drop-dead Hollywood gowns.
The core of the collection featured a jumble of Lilly Pulitzer-meets-Pucciesque prints (with pop art influences) presented on little suits, lace coats, and gorgeous georgette beaded cardigans. While the collection was lightened up—retiring aggressive elements and signature black corsetry—it maintained the D&G spirit, showcasing opportunities for models to flash their legs (often in printed tights) and wearing curvy, lacy dresses. Overall, the show presented a slew of delicious separates perfectly suited for pretty individualism.
