Vintage in Pills CHANEL Spring 1992 Paris – Fashion Channel
Karl Lagerfeld’s Spring/Summer 1992 womenswear collection for Chanel, titled The Garden Variety Bride, was presented in Paris and combined house codes with lighter materials and pastel tones. Chanel jackets in pastel tweeds featured camellia motifs positioned at the bust, rendered as black silk satin bows.
The lineup included leather bomber jackets and men’s-style vests marked with the interlocking CC logo, styled with flowing silk tulle skirts and ballet flats. Accessories included silk organza sashes worn in the hair, along with gold and wooden chain belts and necklaces that referenced a 1960s Chanel design.
