British designer Bora Aksu presented a Fall/Winter 2026 collection inspired by history, folklore, and emotion. Drawing on an 18th-century English tale of innocence and tragedy, the designs explore the space between life and afterlife.
The collection combines structured historical workwear elements fitted bodices, aprons, lacing with light, ethereal shapes in tulle, silk organza, and voile. A soft, muted palette of chalk, ivory, and faded white evokes a ghostly, timeless atmosphere. Crochet flowers, raw edges, bows, and gathered necklines add romantic, haunting details, creating a poetic tribute to the story’s central figure.
