HERMÈS Cruise 2027 Bel Air Best Looks – Fashion Channel
Hermès presented its Resort 2027 collection in the hills of Bel Air, where Nadège Vanhée continued her exploration of femininity through the interplay of movement, craftsmanship, and elegance. Conceived as the second chapter of the house’s Autumn/Winter 2026–27 womenswear collection, the show transformed a Los Angeles sunset into a dreamlike setting where fashion and dance became inseparable.
Drawing inspiration from the wardrobe of a dancer, Vanhée developed a collection centered on fluidity and gesture. Satin dresses in rich shades of red, green, and gold followed the body’s movement with precision, while grosgrain ribbons, ruched bustiers, and cache-cœur knits referenced the world of ballet. Knit jumpsuits, embroidered details, and silk velvet scarf dresses reinforced the dialogue between functionality and refinement.
Throughout the collection, Hermès’ savoir-faire remained at the forefront. Leather biker jackets and glossy coats contrasted with flowing silhouettes, creating a tension between discipline and freedom. The house’s iconic silk carré was reimagined through draping and volume, transforming a familiar motif into sculptural garments.
As evening arrived, embroidered dresses in satin and velvet brought a more dramatic mood to the runway, evoking a star-filled night sky. Rather than offering a fixed vision of femininity, the collection celebrated its constant evolution, balancing strength and softness, structure and movement, in a way that felt both distinctly Hermès and perfectly suited to contemporary women.
