He also sends Kerry Washington into a full-blown casting crisis with fake news that Jay Ellis is dropping out of their Off-Broadway play, and tells Chrissy Teigen that Andy Cohen hit his car and drove off. She says her reaction might’ve been different if he’d called an hour later—but to John, her response (and she herself) were absolutely perfect.
