ANNE SOFIE MADSEN Spring Summer 2026 Copenhagen – Full Show

After a six-year break from fashion, Danish designer Anne Sofie Madsen made a powerful return for Fall 2025 with a collection that explored contrasts between “glam and trash,” delicacy and strength. A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy and a former collaborator of Alexander McQueen and John Galliano, Madsen first launched her label in 2011 before pausing it to focus on art and teaching.

Now partnered with stylist and model Caroline Clante, Madsen’s comeback collection balanced poetic craftsmanship with subversive attitude. Upcycled moto jackets met chiffon trains, bustles, and 1980s shoulders, blurring boundaries between masculine and feminine, playful and serious. The standout accessories, rat shaped bags made with artist Esben Weile Kjær, became instant conversation pieces, but the true impact lay in Madsen’s renewed sense of purpose.

As she explained, her return was about rediscovering joy in the process: pattern making, hand stitching, and proving that fashion can evolve differently. The Fall 2025 collection marks not only her creative revival but also a reminder of how introspection can lead to reinvention.
