For his debut collection at BALMAIN , Antonin Tron introduced a more pragmatic and wearable vision of glamour, balancing the house’s signature opulence with a restrained, modern approach.
The collection featured a dark, film noir–inspired palette, with looks moving between structured, tough tailoring and fluid, sensual draping. Silhouettes alternated between sharp, military-influenced pieces and soft cocktail and evening dresses with an ’80s undertone.
Key Balmain codes were revisited through a controlled lens: gold accents, dense embellishment, and animal motifs, translated into intricate embroideries, fil coupé, and cloqué jacquards suggesting leopard and tiger patterns.
Outerwear played a central role, including leather pilot jackets with strong shoulders, waist-cinched bombers, and peplum details, paired with leather pants and wraparound sunglasses that emphasized movement and a sleek, urban attitude.
