The founders of Officine Universelle Buly, Victoire de Taillac and Ramdane Touhami, are a kind of time ferrymen: their vocation is to draw inspiration from the excellence and values of the past in order to foster the evolution of this heritage of beauty and offer only the best of the present. Their deep passion for ancient knowledge, for gestures and hygiene and beauty habits shared by peoples all over the world, took shape in 2014 with the opening of Officine Universelle Buly at 6 rue Bonaparte, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
A bulwark against the disappearance of the world’s heritage of beauty expertise, expressed through simple and precious products—effective, respectful, sober or legendary, infused with history and travel.
In 2019, the Louvre Museum, a temple of French refinement and a prism of universal art, proposed an exceptional collaboration with Officine: eight renowned perfumers interpreted as many emblematic works, paintings or sculptures from the museum through bespoke fragrances.
Since 2021, Officine Universelle Buly has become part of the pioneering luxury group LVMH, sealing the union of discreet refinement and innovation.
