For his return to New York Fashion Week, Christopher John Rogers presented “Exhale”, a collection that explored identity, joy, and self-expression through bold color and precise tailoring. Known for his mastery of color, Rogers introduced daring new combinations — including sunshine yellow, coral, and burgundy stripes — across silhouettes that ranged from voluminous to streamlined.
Grosgrain ribbon appeared as a recurring detail, seen on trench coat hems, corsage-like embellishments, and as waistband accents on tailored trousers. Rich textures and vibrant shades featured prominently in oversized coats, structured shirting, and draped skirts.
Modern interpretations of corsetry appeared throughout, including asymmetrically buttoned tops with back lacing, paired with utilitarian-inspired separates. The collection balanced expressive color with refined construction, offering a wide range of statement pieces grounded in craftsmanship.
