One of the most revered and influential designers of the past sixty years, Azzedine Alaïa was also an inveterate collector of vintage fashion. Among a previously unseen hoard of 22,000 pieces were hundreds of Dior designs, the majority by the founding couturier. A number of these are now the subject of “Azzedine Alaïa’s Dior Collection”, an exhibition at La Galerie Dior, Paris, until 17 May 2026. Discover how the Dior Heritage team documented and revived these pieces, and how they were combined for the occasion with the House’s own extensive archival holdings.
