Dolores Cortés is a swimwear house built on a seventy-year family tradition, initiated in the 1950s by the designer’s mother. Dolores Font Cortés revived this legacy, establishing the brand in the 1980s with the aim of making the swimsuit a trend product.
The brand is a fixture on the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid runway and won the National Award for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Fashion Industry in 2017. The new collection draws inspiration from Ndebele art, fusing geometric maxi-patterns and hand-embroidered motifs with sophisticated silhouettes. It celebrates African heritage and redefines artisanal luxury in contemporary swimwear.
