Inspired by the work of Pierre Soulages, known for his exploration of black as a source of luminosity, the collection treats the color not as absence, but as a dynamic and expressive presence.
Black appears in multiple dimensions: dense and absolute, or subtly revealed through embroidery and surface detailing that contrasts with natural tones. Linear motifs trace the body, forming floating lines, geometric reliefs, and pleated ruff-like structures, while the interplay between matte opacity and lacquered shine creates shifting reflections of light. Accents of twilight orange, green, and deep red punctuate the palette, adding depth and contrast.
Silhouettes are sculptural and architectural, with garments shaped through controlled folds and precise construction. Dresses follow the body with defined lines that highlight shoulders and backs, while expanded skirt volumes emphasize the waist, reinterpreting the hourglass form in a contemporary context. Transparent layers introduce fluidity, softening structure with movement and lightness.
