This idea translates into reworked British tailoring, where traditional pieces like trenches, capes, and suits are adjusted through shifts in volume, proportion, and material. Silhouettes are often softened or distorted, with lowered waists, added fullness, and unexpected surface treatments.
Details such as ruching, reinforced necklines, and unconventional fabrics give familiar garments a slightly unsettled feel, balancing structure with looseness. The collection plays with British dress codes while introducing irregular construction and subtle references to individuality and nonconformity.
