MISS SOHEE Spring 2026 Couture Best Looks Paris – Fashion Channel
Sohee Park presented her couture collection in a gilded salon at the Shangri-La hotel, using the setting as a contrast to the collection’s primary inspiration: views from a window in her summer home in southern Korea. Natural elements observed through that frame—wisteria, bamboo, sea, and shifting light—were translated into embroidered landscapes and surface decoration.
The silhouettes centered on Park’s signature corseted hourglass bodices paired with fluted or sculpted skirts. Nature motifs appeared as embroidered mountains, flowers, and skies, while three-dimensional elements extended outward from garments, including brass bamboo branches and cherry blossom appliqués. One look incorporated feathered textures echoed by a taxidermied albino peacock carried on the runway.
Bridal looks formed a key part of the collection, reflecting Park’s made-to-order couture practice. These gowns featured sheer silks, crystal embroidery, and references to traditional Korean dress, including a hooded veil inspired by historical head coverings. Wave-inspired patterns and Swarovski embellishment emphasized surface detail and craftsmanship throughout the bridal sequence.
Across the collection, structured construction was combined with decorative embroidery and sculptural embellishment, using the body as a framework for nature-inspired imagery.
