Mossi Traoré continues to carve a unique path in fashion, blending inclusive, ethical couture with cultural craftsmanship. Founder of Les Ateliers d’Alix—an initiative teaching couture skills to underprivileged youth—Traoré recently won the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris and secured Chanel as the main partner of his social project, allowing him to focus fully on his creative vision.
For Spring, Traoré revisits classic forms through fluid jersey, structured Japanese denim, and cool wool, featuring sharp color-blocking in black, white, and royal blue. Highlights include pleated maxidresses, sleek jumpsuits with sheer overlays, and breezy plaid pieces in pink and blue checks. His work pays homage to French textile sculptor Simone Pheulpin with intricate fabric treatments, particularly on the stunning white dress that closed the show.
