MSGM Fall 2026 Best Looks Milan – Fashion Channel
MSGM’s Fall 2026 collection was presented at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in Milan, known as Fondazione ICA, with models moving through the audience and around the Marina Rheingantz paintings installed in the space.
The collection builds around recurring feline imagery, a longstanding reference within MSGM’s visual language. A black cat motif, first introduced in a 2012 sweatshirt design, is reworked across garments in enlarged and layered forms. It appears as a life-size print on silk duchesse shirts and skirts, as well as a stylised cat face translated into soft, slipper-like footwear.
References extend into surrealist painting, with mentions of Leonor Fini and Stanislao Lepri, where feline figures are part of a broader visual and emotional vocabulary. This art-world influence is reflected in the collection’s approach to print, colour, and layering rather than literal interpretation.
The silhouettes combine tailored and casual elements without clear hierarchy. Tweed and knit pencil skirts are paired with track jackets, high-neck blouses, and lightweight tank tops. Outerwear includes oversized windbreakers in saturated orange and lime green, alongside pieces in metallic Tyvek, faux fur, and animal prints. Rose motifs appear in dense, graphic repetitions across fabrics.
