Vintage in Pills ALBERTA FERRETTI Spring 2002 Milan – Fashion Channel
The Alberta Ferretti spring 2002 collection opened with a pleated red skirt paired with a white shirt and a fitted double-breasted blazer. The lineup then moved into sheer dresses with extensive ruffling and gathering, some finished with ribbon trim or beaded detailing. A brief use of optical print appeared before the collection returned to predominantly blush-toned, lingerie-inspired gowns.
More structured pieces included a coat with gold topstitching and straight-leg trousers. Across the collection, contrasts were established between transparent, softly constructed dresses and tailored garments with firmer shape and surface definition.
