The Badgley Mischka show was defined by a mood of escapist celebration and heavy glamour. The designers placed effort on daywear, offering conservatively chic tweed dresses and jackets, sweater sets, and beaded tanks.
The collection featured tiers of lace and tulle, lush satin, and chiffon, moving away from heavy beading. Cocktail dresses utilized the unexpected combination of crystal beading on sandy linen hopsack. While gowns remained the focus, an embellished signature bouquet-print satin-and-chiffon gown contrasted with a standout simple black cotton dress featuring a rose corsage and a trapeze hem. The collection maintained the brand’s established aesthetic of glamour over fleeting trends.
