Vintage in Pills ELIE SAAB Spring 2007 Paris – Fashion Channel
Elie Saab’s Fall/Winter collection centered on gold-hued dresses, ranging from micro minis to floor-length gowns. Silhouettes featured batwing and butterfly sleeves, asymmetric one-shoulder cuts, and deep plunging fronts. Stiff kimono-style sleeves were cinched with wide belts, while bottoms were limited to cuffed shorts or showgirl-inspired pieces.
Sequins covered many designs in stripes, chevrons, and polka dots, while simpler floor-length gowns offered fluid, thirties-inspired lines. Accessories included oversized python and leather bags, contrasting with the metallic intensity of the garments.
