Vintage in Pills GUCCI Spring 2003 Milan – Fashion Channel
The Gucci Spring 2003 collection under Tom Ford emphasized very short hemlines, with micro skirts and dresses paired with silver peep-toe slingback pumps. The color palette consisted of lustrous, makeup-toned fabrics in blush, tawny brown, pearly gray, and silver. Garments were draped and wrapped closely around the body, with jackets and tops styled to sit low on the shoulders.
Several looks referenced kimono construction, shown both as a silk cover-up and as a fitted dress made from narrow, hand-painted silk strips. Feathered racer-back dresses featured abbreviated skirts. Accessories included delicate white and rose gold ribbon-like jewelry worn at the wrist, and one closing look was constructed entirely from the same ribbon material.
