With towering topknots and extra-dark sunglasses, the models stepped out like a regiment of Parisian Bond heroines embarking on a sharply tailored Greek odyssey. The front row set the tone — Madonna, Gaultier’s longtime collaborator since the 1980s, drew immediate attention and delayed the show with her arrival.
This collection travels to ancient Greece by way of the Cyclades. Foustanellas inspired pleated white skirts, goddess-style draping nodded to Madame Grès, while cropped vests and harem pants referenced traditional village dress. Gold embroidery, sculpted corsetry, and fluid chiffon added structure and movement without slipping into costume.
Though the concept leaned heavily on destination storytelling, the execution remained precise. A finely pleated white bustier paired with navy trousers stood out for its clarity. A layered pink chiffon finale look closed the show with theatrical weight.
