Roberto Cavalli’s Spring 2007 collection featured back-laced corsets, silver and gold embellishments, and beaded details. Toreador jackets were paired with relaxed cropped pants, often styled with flats, creating a contrast to more fitted looks. The jackets were richly embroidered and beaded, while shirt fronts carried frills and a metallic leather coat was laser-cut to resemble lace.
Fringe appeared on shirtdresses and along the hems of suede skirts with macramé details at the waist and hips. Flounced sleeves inspired by flamenco dance accented a crystal-belted dress.
Animal prints were also present, including leopard on corsets and zebra stripes radiating across a chiffon gown with trailing sleeves. The eveningwear lineup included halter gowns with open backs, sheer rhinestone-covered dresses, and a beaded black look resembling a leotard.
