Vintage in Pills TREND LES COPAINS Spring 1999 Milan – Fashion Channel
The Spring/Summer collection by Trend Les Copains was presented during Milan Fashion Week and featured garments centered around floral motifs and experimental materials.
A recurring element of the collection was the calla lily, which appeared in multiple forms and decorative techniques. The motif was used as beaded embellishments along the borders of white sundresses, as printed patterns emerging from the hems of cropped trousers, and as appliqué decorations covering skirts. Some garments incorporated clear glass lily ornaments, particularly on knitted tank tops paired with cropped white trousers.
Alongside these floral elements, the collection introduced materials associated with technical or synthetic aesthetics. Several garments were constructed with high-tech fabrics and decorated with plastic disc embellishments. These details appeared on dresses, tank tops, low-rise trousers, and sheer tulle coats.
