YOHJI YAMAMOTO Spring 2026 Best Looks Paris – Fashion Channel

The Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection by Yohji Yamamoto centered on refined construction, surface texture, and asymmetrical form. Garments featured subtle shifts in proportion, including sloped shoulders, jackets with layered and lightly frayed panels, and necklines cut to expose the collarbone at varied angles. The color range remained largely within black, white, and red.

Materials included whisper-thin wool, chiffon, and stretch jersey. Wool was used for asymmetric column dresses, some designed to leave one shoulder uncovered. Chiffon appeared in lightweight layers and handkerchief hems that moved freely. Jersey was treated through knotting and braiding techniques to create curved, body-contouring panels at the rib cage and hips.

Several pieces referenced printed imagery and text, including a tunic dress bearing archival campaign images and show-related text on its surface. Throughout the collection, tailoring elements associated with Western suiting were combined with fluid draping and flat, graphic treatments more commonly associated with calligraphic line and historical garment construction.

Seams and construction lines were often intentionally exposed, revealing internal structure beneath outwardly fluid silhouettes.
